Start to automate your Tests
This workshop is intended for people who are already in the test automation world and who want to learn about mobile automation. The workshop is aimed at developers who think that quality is of great importance and manual testers who have some technical baggage (knowledge of OO-programming language).
After completing this workshop, you will be able to apply test automation on mobile applications, whether they are connected to an online platform (e.g. BrowserStack) or an in-house device farm or not.
This course requires some technical knowledge concerning programming, more specifically Java
This course requires you to BYOD (Bring Your Own Device). Please bring your own laptop and make sure Java, Maven and Git are installed.
You will also need a smartphone, preferably an Android smartphone. If you have an iOS device, you will need a MacBook as well. It is possible to ask the trainers to provide a smartphone for you if needed.

Meet the trainers
“I hate repetitive tasks and I love finding loopholes that nobody has ever thought of. Test automation combines these two. Over the years, I experienced different challenges of implementing an automation solution across various sectors. Within Refleqt, I try to lift the technical skills of the team, by continuous learning and sharing the learned expertise at our knowledge sharing sessions. During my trainings, I want to take you on a pragmatic journey of testing, and how to get rid of these repetitive tasks.”
“At the start of my career, I was part of a Java development team. As I was always intrested in delivering high quality solutions, I found a new challenge in the automation of the validation process. At Refleqt, we currently do this for all kinds of applications, going from a microserive architecture with a mobile app as front-end to a legacy monolith. I'm also active as a coach for a team of test automation engineers, sharpening their skills and assisting them with their automation challenges.”
“I made the change from manual testing to automated testing a few years ago, and I still find myself enjoying how it takes on a life of its own. To see the tests speed through different scenario’s and to know that it’ll run those scenario’s in exactly the same way each time. And at Refleqt, that’s exactly what I get to do, setting up test frameworks that put stress on different systems and using them to ensure consistent quality on our projects.”
