Course overview
Python is one of the most widely used programming languages fo data scientists. Would you like to get started with Python to apply powerful calculations to large data sets? Then this training is what you're looking for!
We composed a unique training programme where you will learn a lot in a short time. The training will be spread over the course of 4 weeks. There is a webinar every Tuesday from 10AM until 12PM where we will go through the learning materials in an interactive way. You will have plenty of time to ask all of your questions during the webinar as well.
You will also get access to the online learning platform, where you will find video lectures and exercises that match the content discussed during the webinars. You will have the opportunity to work on your own case during this course. Our trainer will provide personal support when you need help with the case.
Who should attend this training
This training is intended for everyone who needs to analyse large data sets during their job. No prior programming experience is required - we will teach you that!
Course Objectives
The course aims to teach those with no prior experience in Python how to start programming with Python. At the end of the course, you will be able to write Python code and work on your own practical case.
Prerequisites
There are no prerequisites for this course. No prior programming knowledge is required.
Course Content
We composed a unique training programme which balances theory and practice. We start with an introduction to Python where we will guide you through the basic principles of Python. We will continue with a Python programming course. Next, you will work on several practical cases to put the theory you just learned into practice. You will start writing code yourself. Lastly, you will work on your own practical case.
The training will be spread over the course of 4 weeks. There is a webinar every Tuesday from 10AM until 12PM where we will go through the learning materials in an interactive way. Please take into account that you will have to do some preparations in between the webinars. You should count on something between 8 hours and 16 hours of "homework" in total (video lectures and preparing exercises).
